What's in a name:  The spelling of this name evolved over the years and in different families.  When researching documents, we have learned to try all the various spellings for any of the family members.

Note from Fran F.  Genevieve arrived in the USA in 1904 and Stefan in 1912 as listed on the 1930 census. She and Stefan lived @ 5 Allen Ct. in Natick with 6 children.
On the 1920 census there is a vast difference on the immigration arrival date ---with Jenny arriving on 1897 and Stefan arriving in 1895--they were living @ 5 Shattuck Ct. in Natick with 4 children.
I would be more apt to believe the 1920 dates as their first 2 children--Mary & Joseph were born in Chicago on 1904 & 1907. Still trying to find the immigration records on both to verify the actual dates.

Note from BJW.  Census 1910 Jenny was living in Roxbury  with her children Joseph and Mary in the home of Frank and Anna  Hesek's .  Stefan was not listed there.
